ABOUT Patrick J Breheny Counselling

About Patrick Breheny: Your Counsellor

Hello, I'm Patrick Breheny, an experienced and qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, proudly registered with the BACP. My commitment is to provide a safe, confidential, and compassionate space for your personal growth and well-being.

Born and raised in Manchester, my journey to counselling is enriched by a diverse background. I spent several years working directly in the construction industry, and my family owns a civil engineering company. This first hand experience gives me a unique understanding of the pressures, dynamics, and communication challenges within demanding work environments.

Beyond my private practice, my dedication to mental health extends to my role as a Director of a non-profit mental health Community Interest Company (CIC), deeply valuing community impact.

I believe in the power of effective communication and genuine connection, both personally and professionally. As a husband and father, I value creating supportive relationships, and I bring that same commitment to our therapeutic work. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, or navigating bereavement, my work is fuelled by a deep desire to empower you to achieve personal growth and lasting transformation. I look forward to supporting your journey to change.
