Individual counselling · Online for people in Rochdale

Online counselling from Rochdale, starting with a conversation before you decide.

Making an enquiry does not mean committing to counselling. The first step is a short telephone conversation in which you can outline what has brought you here and ask practical questions.

I’m Patrick, an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in Stockport. I offer online individual counselling across the UK, including for people in Rochdale, and I speak with you directly during the initial call.

What is the initial call for?

The free telephone consultation lasts approximately 15 minutes. It is not a counselling session. It gives us a brief, direct conversation before you decide whether you want to begin.

What you can share

A brief outline of what has brought you to counselling is enough.

  • You do not need a diagnosis.
  • You do not need to have everything in the right words.
  • You can say which practical questions matter to you.

What you can ask

You can ask about my approach, the online format and the arrangements for a session.

  • Online sessions last 50 minutes and cost £70.
  • You will need privacy, a suitable device and reliable internet.
  • You do not need to commit during the call.
Before the first session

Decide after we have spoken.

The call lets us consider whether working together may feel right for you. If you decide to continue, I confirm how we will meet and provide the joining information before the first online session.

Support shaped around you

A conversation with a person, not a fixed formula.

I work in a humanistic, integrative way, with warmth, empathy and respect for your experience. I draw on Person-Centred counselling, Transactional Analysis and CBT where they fit your needs. The relationship we build is central to the work.

Counselling can begin with a particular concern, a difficult experience or a feeling you cannot yet put into words. You do not need a diagnosis or a polished explanation before getting in touch.
