Individual counselling · Online for people in Salford

Online counselling from Salford, with a separate face-to-face option in Stockport.

How you meet can be part of choosing a counsellor. I offer online sessions if you want to meet remotely, and face-to-face sessions at my Stockport practice if being in the room feels more suitable.

I’m Patrick, an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in Stockport. Whichever format you are considering, the initial call gives us time to discuss the practical difference before you decide.

Would you rather meet online or attend in Stockport?

Both options are individual counselling with me. The main difference is practical: online sessions take place remotely from a private setting, while face-to-face sessions take place at my Stockport practice.

Meet online from Salford

This may suit you if you are comfortable meeting remotely and have a private place where you can speak without interruption.

  • You will need a suitable device and reliable internet connection.
  • There is no journey to my Stockport practice.
  • I will confirm the joining arrangements before the first session.

Attend my Stockport practice

Face-to-face individual counselling is available as a separate option if you would prefer to meet in the room.

  • Sessions last 50 minutes.
  • The same £70 individual-session fee applies.
  • You can ask practical questions about attending during the initial call.
Before the first session

You do not need to choose a format first.

The free initial telephone consultation lasts approximately 15 minutes. We can discuss what has brought you to counselling, whether online or face-to-face meetings feel more workable, and whether working together may feel right for you.

Support shaped around you

A conversation with a person, not a fixed formula.

I work in a humanistic, integrative way, with warmth, empathy and respect for your experience. I draw on Person-Centred counselling, Transactional Analysis and CBT where they fit your needs. The relationship we build is central to the work.

Counselling can begin with a particular concern, a difficult experience or a feeling you cannot yet put into words. You do not need a diagnosis or a polished explanation before getting in touch.
